My baby finished her first year of school today! I know going to preschool two mornings a week doesn't sound like a big deal, but it was to her! She's not as sentimental as Nick most of the time, but she's been taking the end of school pretty hard. She's been very sad. And yes, she picked out her own outfit, as usual.
Here are some pictures of the last-day-of-school family ice cream party. She was thrilled to show off all her friends to Dave and me. The pic is of her with Emma and Catrina. Is it me or do they look like they're in high school? She got big hugs and compliments from her teachers, Ms. Priscilla & Ms. Joanne. They said she's going to do really well in five day Pre-K next year. They also mentioned that two of her buddies (Evan and Hailey) would be in her class. Perhaps "partners in crime" would be a better term. Start praying for Ms. Lisa & Ms. Diane now!
So, now we're trying to focus on how fun summer vacation is going to be and September will be here before she knows it.
