But today's another day and the sun was shining!!! Her best friend, Ella, is also in her class. They had a blast! They weren't afraid, didn't complain about the water being cold, kicked their legs, went underwater...the whole nine yards! She is SO proud of herself!

Meg's first swim lesson
Nicholas has taken swim lessons for the past two summers through the Parks & Rec department. Megan has had to sit with me outside the fence and watch. Finally, this year she is old enough to take lessons herself! The preschool classes fill up quickly, but I got her in. We've had the date circled on the calendar for weeks. She was giddy and nervous and could barely contain herself as she counted down the days. Yesterday was a yucky weather day. Nick's 10am class was held, though it was chilly and damp. While we waited for Megan's 11:30am class to roll around, the storm clouds rolled back in and thunder rumbled. They had to shut down operations completely. She was DEVISTATED.
