Dave's cousin (Jon) and his fiance (Kimmy) got married Dec 28th. We've (especially Megan) been waiting for this day for SO long! We are just so in love with this couple! For a LONG time Megan has referred to Kimmy as "my friend Kimmy who's not my cousin yet but I hope she will be." As I carried a very sleepy flower girl out of the reception hall Sunday night, she whispered in my ear, "I can't believe Kimmy's REALLY my cousin now!"
The ceremony was beautiful and personal and just perfect. They wrote a portion of their vows themselves and Jonny even sang to her. I only completely lost control of myself once...I was fighting making those very un-ladylike heaving noises. We were so honored to be part of their very special day.
The reception was tons of fun. I kept trying to warn Nick that his aggressive dancing style would leave him sore the next day. Always believe your mother. He barely got off the couch all Monday!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Patterson! We love you so much!
