The other night I was putting Megan to bed and I started to sing "Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite." (an original composition) as per the routine. She stopped me mid song to protest, "No! I want the mall song!" Mall song? I had NO idea what she was talking about!!! This really frustrated her. I asked her if it was a song about the mall or one we sing at the mall (I don't think I've ever sung at the mall). She said about the mall.
"You know...'Mall Creatures'..." (Said in that sassy tone Megan is famous for.)
What? OH!!! I burst into laughter! (Is that bad for her psyche?)
"Praise God from WHOM ALL blessings flow...Praise HIM ALL creatures here below..."
At least the mall creatures are praising God. Am I a mall creature? I think I might be. Ahhhh. I'll miss my 4-year-old. In the morning she'll be 5 and probably moving on to bigger and better things than songs about mall creatures....I hope not.

That is one of the funniest things ever! I'm glad Dave told you to write it down...it is definitely something you are going to want to remember!
