What an amazing day we had today! The weather was predicted to be horrible, but the rain clouds cleared out early and the warm sun shone down. The weather turned out so nice that Cammy decided to escape and take a brisk run around the neighborhood. Dave rounded her up again, but not before she had run all around a very busy street and even left an offering on our pastor's front lawn! Naughty girl!Aunt Ellie, Megan and Heather took the train in to Brookline, MA to go to a "Fancy Nancy" party hosted by an adorable little book store. Megan is in love with the book series and had a fabulous time on the whole trip. There was even a special guest...Fancy Nancy's "friend". Dave and Nick spent the day mini-golfing and at the batting cages. They each got a hole-in-one, but unfortunately the camera was with the girls in the city!
We all met back at Nana & Papa Fred's house for Grandma Way's birthday party. She is so very special to all of us and we had a great time celebrating with her. Now we're all exhausted and ready to be tucked in. Every day is an adventure around here, but we wouldn't trade it for anything! And to put the icing on the cake, the Red Sox just beat the Yankees! Ahhhh...life is good!
